Getting closer to a review of the 16-85, but I just gotta say I LOVE IT! It has NOT come off my K5 since I got it last month!

Color, sharpness, reasonable weight, but not size...

More to come eventually!

Have to agree.  I got my K3 II with the 16-85 and am loving the lens.  A versatile range and very sharp, even in the corners.  Good close focusing at 85mm.  No regrets on getting it.  A little bulky but not considering its optical quality, and functionality, no complaints.  Nice that it is weather sealed as well.
