microSD card encryption?

An interesting feature of the CM1 is that the camera can be instantly turned on, even if the phone was asleep and you are using password protection. This means you can take photos anytime, but to review photos you still have to enter you password just like you would normally. A great security feature really.

Now Android supports full disk encryption so the photos on the internal memory should be automatically encrypted if you activate encryption on your phone. Wonder if Panasonic encrypts data on the microSD card or if that data is stored unencrypted at rest?

"The people who made your phone or tablet might have included a method to encrypt external storage (like the SD Card)"

Something to keep in mind for future iterations of the CM1's version of the OS.
