Can the 150 to 600 be hand held or do you need a tripod or monopod?

You will be in a vehicle so you may be able to use a bean bag. Otherwise there's plenty of light and the D750 ISO is superb so the high shutter speeds you'll need to HH the 150-600 are easily reached. Remember 1.5 x the FL and you should be fine.
