I thought that but there`s a LOT more to a camera than the sensor - witness the poor noise from the Sony A7 and A7-II compared Nikon`s Sony sensor powered fullframers .......

I meant the sensor as built into the camera, which is the only thing the test/review sites can measure/show.

Oly may have improved the Amplifier electronics - also the sensor itself may have improved a bit even without BSI - the EM5 was quite a while ago like the other Sony powered Olys (EM1 being Panasonic powered I believe)

The DxO results are a carbon copy of those for other bodies having what we think is the same sensor tech. And the sample images we can compare are perfectly in line with those results.
