It`s a Silver one and like the EN5/10 looks superb in silver (unlike the silver EM1 which IMO looks tacky), Love the flip LCD, the EVF seems as good as the EM1s. love the new LH lug placement compared to the old 5 and the 10 , Lurrrrvly soft sounding shutter (is it in EFC mode or not? - how to tell ? ) the new IBIS seems less "Hissy" than the old . command dials seem as loose as the 10 - the rear arrow pad is MILES better than the EM1 one which can be hard to press as its more inset .. doesn`t feel too unwieldy with the 12-40 on it, the grip is better than the old 5 or the 10. Still only 4 mysets, why not 8 or 10 ?

It's all subjective of course, but I always think the E-M5 II is an utterly beautiful looking camera, whether silver or all-black. It's got the single-digit OM look spot-on, thanks to the shape of the "prism" and the fact that the baseplate is finally shallow enough to look convincing - most 35mm SLRs from the late seventies to mid eighties didn't have the deep baseplates that the previous OM-D models have had.

Regarding EFCS, it's likely in it if you're seeing a drive mode icon with a diamond to its left, as with your E-M1. As with that, it will also show the diamond if Anti Shock is set to any of the longer, non-EFCS settings though. The delay is now initially set up in Shooting Menu 2, rather that being hidden more deeply in the gear menus. The display of the drive modes is now in a more logical progression across the bottom of the screen if you access them via (for example) the "down" directional key, so I find them quite easy to skip between that way (or there's the SCP of course). You can also opt to have the hi res mode available on this selection strip (or not, as you prefer).

That lovely quiet shutter mechanism (which is the only shutter I've ever actually enjoyed the sound of!) sounds pretty much the same whether in EFCS or not.  It's quite interesting to listen to it at a slow speed in EFCS - you'd swear it was still running the first curtain like the previous OM-Ds have had to in EFCS, since there's a surprisingly hefty clunk at the beginning of the exposure.  In fact, it's not running the shutter - that's the cocking process.  Stick it only Release Lag=short for pre-cocking at the end of an exposure, listen again and it's totally silent until the exposure ends.

Overall it`s a Swapper but a few Quezzies

Is there a way to set Hi-Rez mode to a button ?

See above - almost, but not quite.

Is there a way to set the Full Electronic shutter to a button ? (you can on the GX7 and GM5)

Again, as above. It's any drive mode with a heart to its left, and it's really easy to trot amongst them - they're arranged horizontally in the order: standard, Anti-shock, silent within each group (single, continuous high, continuous low, so on).  If something is not available (such as continuous high with EFCS), it doesn't appear, instead of that weird idea of showing it, but greyed out, on the E-M1).

What do I have to do to the flash to make it work with the GM5 (the mod?) ..

I don't have a GM5, but I believe you need to carefully shave the little flange down at the front of the FL-LM3's foot.

Thanks
