GX7 & 45-175mm at the beach
5

Hi, i thought i'd share some photos i took with my Panny GX7 and 45-175mm lens. I've had the camera and lens for a couple of weeks and im slowly getting used to it, im trying to set the custom functions to my liking still. Its a great camera and im really enjoying the handling, the lens balances well and the grip is just deep enough for an assured hold. I chose to buy the M43 gear as the Fuji equivalent lens was both heavy and large in comparison and the panny lens focuses really fast. I now shoot the fuji xpro1 with 3 primes and the panny for my telephoto needs.

The photos were taken down at Chapel Porth in Cornwall, its a great spot and very popular for surfing and photography. i preferred to photograph the silhouettes of the surfers watching in the shallows rather than action shots of them surfing. Im pleased with the outcome and the files are easy to work with, i find the dynamic range to be far superior to my old G1 & GF2 with the files being able to be pushed and pulled to bring out detail without introducing artefacts.

To view more of my photographs please look at my flickr page at flickr.com/photos/jonnieburtoft

Cheers, Jon
