2D/3D lens has for 3D a very small eye distance, you also can select only few parameters (aperture is fixed to 6 etc) - 2D function is very good, but 3D you can forget.

For 3D it's better to use a single lens camera with cha-cha-methode or a 3D cam/camcorder with two lenses.

3D lens for NX or Pana 3D lens (for Lumix etc) is wasted money.

It was only a relatively small amount more expensive than the 2D-only version of the lens (£30 or so, I think), so I don't think it's a waste really.
For a small additional fee, I like having something that offers me more options - photography is, for me, supposed to be an enjoyable holiday and I enjoy being able to mess around with that sort of thing.

The 3D effect is actually quite decent in some of the shots, which given I'd had the lens less than a week and was just messing around with it, is quite acceptable IMO. The effect is pretty similar to (non-animated) 3D movies in their current form, a series of flat images that appear to be at different depths (animated movies, such as the Despicable Me series, tend to be better in 3D as they can be rendered so the objects all have proper depth).
It may not be perfect but it's still eye-catching, so to speak.
