Re: Galaxy NX issues

Thanks.
I guess I'll return it next week then.
I just went to a Baseball game and had it lock up again (the small thumbnail icon keeps loading and loading).

Strangely enough, the dead pixels and even the red pixel on the sensor weren't visible throughout the game and even after I got home. It only started again 20 minutes after I got home (before that, the red pixel on the sensor wasn't visible even with the lens cap on).

Two more things:
1. For some reason, it sometimes fails to properly apply EXIF data to images. In that case, the small thumbnail icon in the lower left corner will turn into a yellow exclamation mark and the image itself will include a "Samsung Galaxy NX" signature, even though I disabled signatures. Did this happen to someone else before?
2. Comparing it to my buddy's Canon EOS 50D, I experience considerably more shutter lag. When I shoot a photo of the pitcher throwing a fastball, the 50D "records" the very moment I pressed the shutter button. Meanwhile on the Samsung, if I press the shutter while the ball is in midair, the photo shows it in the catcher's glove.
I somehow (perhaps naively) assumed the Samsung Galaxy NX was up to action photography. Was I wrong about that or is this, perhaps, due to yet another fault in my camera?
