Hi Sherlock

I have the converter it's an Olympus MC-14. Below is a link for you to the Olympus web page

http://www.olympus.co.uk/site/en/c/lenses/adapters_converters/converters/m_zuiko_digital_1_4x_teleconverter_mc_14/index.html

My first hand experience is that it is excellent, I appreciate the extra reach with minimal additional weight. I struggle to see any significant drop in quality (I expect there is a little) the most important thing is that it simply allows you to get a shot you might not have been able to take.
The best example of this I can give you is shooting football. With my previous FF 70-200, I could cover half the width of the field for the shots I like, with the 40-150 2/3rds , with the 1.4 the complete width. You do lose the 2.8 for f4 and with that a little depth of field but I can live with that.

Below is a link to shots all taken with the MC-14 so that you can review for yourself

Good shooting and I hope my comments help, regards Phil
