Advice or links to Android tablets for live view.

Hello all.  I'd like to move to a tablet for live view.  Currently using a Nikon D700 with a lot of manual focus lenses and the eyes are going.  I use Cam Ranger and that is fine on a MacBook Pro at home but the laptop is getting to be a pain to lug around, hence looking at a tablet.

After 20 years of Macs I'm getting a bit fed up with Apple and want to look at Android devices.  My only experience with Android so far has been a phone that I bought for it's multiple SIM cards.  I found the OS to be horrible and desperately try to never let it connect to the internet as all it does is download tons of bloatware and clogs the whole thing up.

All I really want is the best screen I can get and two pieces of software, the Cam Ranger for Android and GoPro's live view software.  Obviously I will have to connect to the internet on a regular basis for downloading the programs and regular updates.

Any suggestions for avoiding the bloatware that don't entail hacking and getting the best screen for the money would be appreciated.
