Inside the Hagia Sophia was under construction at the time. I would've like a wide angle shot looking up from the floor if the scaffolding wasn't present.

I agree, an ultra wide angle from down on the floor would not look good. They are taking their time on restoration.

Almost 2 years later, the scaffold is still there.
