Re: great shots, question about light fall off on corners

Karl

Thank you for the comments

in response to your other question, its a post crop vignette added in lightroom, sorry if its worried you, some don't like it, I do, I find it allows a little more focus on the subject especially in sports where you can't always control the background

I use the 40-150mm 2.8 on its own , with the MC-14 (1.4x converter) with a skylight filter to protect the lens and always the hood - with such a clever built in design you would hardly ever leave it off

Good shooting

Really great shots, thanks for sharing. Question about the lens, converter, hood combo. There seems to be some really bad light fall off in the corners of some of the shots, not sure if it's only at a one focal length or aperture, or if you have the wrong lens hood on or the converter is causing it? Maybe it's something with the PP you do/add? I see it on the crops as well, wouldn't expect it there.

I have that issue on a my DSLR with the 10-20 lens sometimes at the 10 end if I stack a filter and use the hood.
