I brought a nx300m from ebay. I thought I had the deal of the century. Picked up the 45mm lens to go with it and a decent little bag that was too big for the camera.

This is when I found a new level of stupid. Camera arrived, took it out the box, cleaned it up a bit and started using it. Tried to turn the camera front facing for a selfie. Didn't work, thought maybe I was doing something wrong. About an hour or two later I went to get the cd so I could install LR5 and noticed that instead I had LR4.

Going deeper in my stupidity I immediately assumed the seller sent me the wrong disc. Must have got them switched up I thought. Seeing if I missed anything I looked a little closer at the box and noticed it was the nx300 without the m. Checked the ebay listing, yep it says 300m with LR5 though some of the pictures showed the LR4 and when I zoomed in the camera had the words 300 on it and not 300m. Only the listing picture had the 300m on it.

Despite all my stupidity ebay made sure to set things right for me. I also went through all of that sellers listings and flagged all the fake ones. They had real 300 listings along with 300's that they were claiming to be 300m's. It really seemed like this wasn't a simply mistake. Ebay had all of their listings down without 24 hours.

I loved the nx300 so much during the short time that I had to order the nx500. So something good came out of that sellers stupidity. I was lost in all the excitement that I didn't even think to check that I was getting what I ordered.
