Is it because I do not like slow telephoto zoom lenses?

Why would I need to look at one studio shot when I can look at all the focal lengths and apertures and compare directly? that tells me all I need to know about which is the more consistent and sharper lens, I mean seriously
why would you look at a picture as an example taken from a lens?
At one focal length in a studio? sure compelling evidence if ever there was any lol.
Since you have omitted the test shots i can only assume there is little or no difference in the shots and you are unwilling to admit it.....
It's called trimming the post, look I've trimmed my own images, happy now?
or you simply want to win an argument regardless of factual evidence.
Well the factual evidence is easily available at SLRgear lens tests and widgets, as I just showed you. Feel free to compare these two lenses to your hearts content, I can tell you that you'll struggle to prove your point with the Nikon, which I guess is why you never bothered to do it
Maybe DPR should stop doing test shots and just do graphs instead of new equipment instead.......
They do show lens test graphics already.
Truly funny
What's funny is that you'll take a single studio test shot, at one focal length and aperture as conclusive proof that one lens is better than another. That's instead of looking at proper data from an established and respected test site that shows you how both lenses perform at all marked focal lengths and apertures. Still, I guess for the purposes of a pizzing contest, which you clearly wanted, it works for you, it's just a shame it backfired so badly on you
i merely responded to an earlier post of yours and provided evidence,
That's the bit you failed on.
anyway i have to go...i have to take some pictures of test charts
Lets hope they're better than your "evidence" gathering skills, shouldn't be difficult
i was going to mention the Nikon 1 30-110mm
Fujifilm FinePix X100
Nikon D2Xs
Nikon 1 V1
Nikon 1 J3
Nikon AF-S Nikkor 300mm f/4D ED-IF

We're Noct messing around with this review.
Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom impress in a lot of ways, but their noise reduction lags the competition and their lens corrections lack a real-world basis. DxO PureRAW 3 aims to come to their rescue without totally reinventing your workflow!
The Sony ZV-E1 is the company's latest vlogging-focused camera: a full-frame mirrorless camera based the FX3/a7S III sensor, aimed at YouTubers and 'creators' looking to go pro.
