Use A mode, put at 7-8 or more the aperture (max aperture of the 45 is 1.8), which means a lot less light will now enter the lens (from aperture 1.8 to 8, there is 4 times less light entering, also called 4 stops), means a lot more noise or even unusable in lower light.

Hi !

If I'm not mistaken, going down 4 stops (for example, f4, f5.6, f8, f11) is not 4 times less light but 16 times.

f1.4 to f2 is one stop, so twice less light. f2 to f2.8 is again twice less light, but from f2, so from f1.4 is 2x2=4 times less......and so on.

Cheers
