Have you recently photographed pitchers with your 55-250, which is what I assume you are talking about? Nobody cares if you played or not. You are arguing about photography and you either have or have not shot baseball recently, with the lens in question.

I suspect its the same as with the 17-55 IS experience - NO. Sooo... how do you know?

And, yes, I really do not understand you most of the time. You do seem to take comments on lens qualities as criticism of you personally. I don't know why - its just "stuff", and everyone's experience can vary without being invalid.

Pal, you wagered that I had never worked with the Canon lens and that, based on my profile, that i knew dick about baseball. You did so in order to conveniently move the subject away from the lens and your statements. You ruse is rather transparent, and it failed. Pants down again.

I know exactly the range of pitcher moves and speeds, and typical shooting distances to the mound. And I ain't the only one on this forum who wholly disbelieves your tall tales.
