Yes and Yes.  The EF STM lenses (EF 24-105 f/3.5-5.6 IS STM, EF 40 f/2.8 STM, EF 50 f/1.8 STM) are 100% compatible with ever EOS SLR ever made, film or digital.  The EF-S STM lenses are 100% compatible with every EF-S mount EOS body ever - All Digital Rebel models from 300D on, all x0D from 20D on, 7D and 7D II.
