Now that One World Observatory is open, I'd like to go there and shoot with my DP1M, but there are two drawbacks :
1) no tripods unless application with marketing that would take at least 4 weeks to process.
At least I could hold the DP1M against window frames, yet panos might not be easy.
2) I can be as close as wanted from the windows (I doubt they are polarized), and wondering about all the precautions to be taken.
Thanks,
Chris
You might be able to clean the inside of the windows but don't count on the outside being clean. Shooting through windows is tricky with any camera and depends very much on the light both inside and out. Personally I'd have a plan B for shooting something else if it becomes problematic. The Merrills are also very susceptible to flair and stray light sources so bear that in mind, maybe take another camera that isn't as well.
