To buy an SD1 or not?

I am considering selling some equipment to fund the purchase of an SD1 and the 18-35mm Sigma for landscape, and potentially adding another lens for flowers/portraits.

I already have the DP2M and love the output, and the fact it is unobtrusive. So given the SD1 is not being replaced anytime soon, and is out there on eBay for around $1000, should I go this way, or just add an DP3M or DP1M to round it out.

So some specific questions for those of you have these cameras are:

1. Can you use the SD1 as an everyday DSLR? (I think I already know the answer to this question)

2. What is the difference in quality of output from the SD1-18-35 Art versus the DP2M or others in that range?

My photography is leaning towards the fine arts area. So the capture of more detail is important to me.

I am a Pentax shooter, love the K3, but the quality of the DP2M has been a revelation. I now officially have MAS (Merrill Addiction Syndrome)

Mike
