We tested that before but I post it again.

I have compared different modes with my GH4. I think that the fullhd EX-tele is about equal to 4k center crop. 4k + 2x digital zoom uses 4:2:0 output before up-sampling so the result is the same than doing it in editor or player. With fullhd ETC I have much faster AF and 60P.

You have a point there, but since I generally shift to it "on the fly" with a soft screen Fn button with wildlife or event work, I find it mire convenient to keep it in the same format, generally using MF.
