The first thing to say is no, lenses don't create noise, although using a different lens can trick you or the camera into doing something different and that in turn *can* affect noise.

But at the risk of saying the totally, blindingly obvious, if you want to reassure yourself about this why don't you take the same shot with both lenses, instead of trying to compare different images?

Useful tip by the way - noise is more visible in out of focus areas so be sure to include some in your test shot, as well as light, dark and mid tones. In fact a completely out of focus shot is a good way to see noise without being distracted by detail.
