Agreed, and I suspect a large portion of those are related to getting screen grabs to create images..and what I have seen is pretty impressive

Yes there are those that feel this is "cheating" it seems..but it was not all that long ago that people were bashing digital camera for similar reason and sticking to film as long as possible.  you take 50 shots and hope one is good..I heard the same argument for film vs digital.  That seems ludicrous now IMO.

Video is going to be the new megapixel race and as it continues to improve it will become a tool for photographers.  If you can video a wedding and get reasonable photos from the same video why not...seems to me you can charge more..video and photos and get the exact moment you want.  Young people getting married today are happy with photos from a Samsung S6.  I'm not unless it is the only camera I have with me.  If they are happy with that they are going to be very happy with frame caps from the NX1..or whatever comes next...so why not be informed and ready for it.

If your not interested just skip the thread..pleanty of threads here that don't interest me and I just skip them
