Hi,
I bought this from Henry's and the grip feels like plastic. When I grip it, I can feel the grip moving because the material is too weak.
Did I get a fake or is this grip made out of plastic. I'd thought that Fuji would have made it out of better materials.
I have many third party grips, two other for my XM1, XA1, have one for my XE1 and another for my XPro1. All of those were made out of aluminum and felt incredibly strong and solid. Now, I have a Fuji grip and it felt flimsy in comparison.
I took off the grip to examine it, By itself, it felt very solid and of high quality so I thought maybe there is a gap between the grip and the body. MyXM1 is silve and black with the faux leather, my XA1 is all black with the raised cirle dots. I put the grip on my XA1 and it felt much better. I swithced the lens also to make both setup the same with the lone exception being the material of the body. Moral of story is the faux leatherette is not a good fit with the grip.
