Dang. My recent experience has been the opposite. I'm 3 for 3. My 15mm HD, 20-40 HD and 70 HD were perfect right out of the box. And I tested them pretty hard too. All bought in the last few weeks.

Fixed focal lenses tend not to have the same problems, but you did well with the 20-40HD!

The more the zoom range the more demanding the lens alignment, if I remember rightly you were returning some a while back.
