Test shots with MC-14 Teleconverter and my 40-150mm Pro
5

I have had my 40-150 for around two months and am so impressed with it I decided to buy the 1.4 teleconverter as well. I thought that some of you may be interested to see what it does by showing my first test shots. I shot these hand-held from about 10ft away using my E-M1. I took them all in RAW and did no processing at all in Lightroom, i.e. no added clarity, sharpening, nothing. I just imported them, made a few 1:1 crops and exported as unadjusted jpg's. I really like this lens and the teleconverter gives some nice additional reach.

40-150 Pro at 40mm (no teteconverter). I focused on the white flowers.

40-150 Pro at 56mm (with teleconverter)

40-150 Pro at 150mm (no teleconverter)

40-150 Pro at 210mm (with teleconverter)

40-150mm Pro at 150mm (no teleconverter) +/- 1:1 crop

40-150mm Pro at 210mm (with teleconverter) +/- 1:1 crop

40-150mm Pro at 210mm (with teleconverter) hand-held from about 10ft away

40-150mm Pro at 210mm (with teleconverter) +/- 1:1 crop of the shot above. Look at that detail, impossible to see with your eye from 10ft away!

Needless to say, I'm impressed...
