Modify adapter Sigma SA - Canon - Fujifilm X

Hello.

I'm writing here hopefully to get the right answers that I need.

Although I love Foveon image quality I think my Sigma SD14 is a bit outdated and slow, so I'm looking for something new.

I'm planning to buy Fujifilm X-E2 camera body. I have few M42 lenses, so that would not be the problem. I also have few good Sigma lenses

My problem is next.

There is Sigma SA to Fujifilm X mount adapter.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Sigma-SA-Mount-To-Fujifilm-X-Pro1-X-E1-X-E2-X-M1-X-A1-Camera-Adapter-/281245184688?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item417b84f2b0

There is also Canon to Fujifilm X adapter WITH aperture.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Aperture-Control-Canon-EOS-EF-EFS-lens-to-FUJI-X-mount-adapter-ring-FujiFilm-FX-/271725762516?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item3f441e17d4

Now the big question.

Is it possible to modify that Canon adapter to fit on Sigma SA lens? I was thinking that I could remove Canon mount from the adapter and replace it with Sigma SA mount.

I can't find anywhere if both adapters are the same thickness and if there would be problems with flange focal distance etc.

Let me just say, that I know that my Sigma SA lenses will loose autofocus and that is ok with me, but I would like to be able to use the lenses with apertures other than wide open.

Thanks.

Best regards, Igor
