Depends what focal length most of your shots are at. If you go full frame you'll get less reach, so if you're shooting at 200 with the SL1 you'd need to shoot at 320mm with the full frame, which would mean having a smaller aperture and cancelling out the light gain, or spending a fortune on big white lenses. Apparently the new 24mp sensor in the M3, and soon the 750D and possibly any future SL2 gives about a stop of improvement in noise. Another strategy might be to use the longest lens you can at no smaller aperture than you're currently using. That would allow you to fill more of the frame with your subject and downsample to reduce the appearance of noise. There's also a nice tutorial on petapixel (a couple of weeks back) on reducing background noise in high ISO images.

I find the wider FOV is extremely useful indoors and a 70-300 is an affordable lens. You can go longer if needed. I'm not going to get into a "which is better" battle. I find the 760D interesting and want to see what it can do. I expect it will be good; but for me, the $$ will be better applied to a 24-70 2.8. YMMV.
