Sometimes people confuse image noise with what they see on their monitors.  A while back I had to explain that to someone.  If you are able to move around the photos at 100% view and you notice that the "noise" stays still, then what you are seeing are the grains/dots that are produced by the monitor.  If it is image noise from the sensor then it should move along with the picture as you move it around on your computer screen.  Another way, is if you keep zooming in closer to the image on your computer and the grains/dots stay the same size, then it's your computer monitor again.  Someone can correct me if I'm wrong with that (or explain it further another way), but that is how I understand it.
