I don't defend him but I also don't like empty accusations. There is a difference between not liking someone and that someone providing false or misleading information.

Oh I remember what finally did Northrup in for me.

it was his argument about f-stops

He made this whole video about how a f-stop equivalence should be added on to sensors under full frame like you do with lens, because f2.8 on a Full Frame isn't the same as f2.8 on a APS-C

If you want to take the same picture on FF and APS-C..

You summed up what is wrong with most equivalency debates in just a few words. The truth is APS-C and FF are different and the first thought photographers have when taking a picture is NOT, "darn it, what settings do I need on my APS-C camera to make it look like I used a FF camera???"

I disagree. APS-C guys WANT to be able to take portraits with blurred background and low light low noise pictures. mFT guys buy huge 0.95 lenses just to be close to FF 2.0 lens. They want blur, they want speed.

Equivalency has its place but we usually don't think, "how much dirt can I haul with my 'vette" and "look how fast my diesel truck is from 0-60".

Yep, thay just want that FF look. Not aways, but often enough.
