Precisely.  I can shoot an event with my D750 and get nearly 1600 12-bit NEF + basic jpgs from grip and body batteries.  With the Fuji X-T1, however, I'd be lucky to get 900 from both because of power consumption.  Plus autofocus speed and accuracy on the Fuji which, while improving, isn't in the same league as the Nikon, especially in continuous mode:  maybe 90% keeper rate on the Nikon as opposed to 50-60% on the Fuji.  And I'm an experienced Fuji shooter that knows and tries to work around all the weird little A/F quirks...

IMO DSLRs will always have a place in the medium....
