Well even if you are forgetful now and then Guy, you are still the master of these cameras. After reading your post, I learned much to my surprise that by assigning the Fn button to turn off the LCD monitor on My Set 2 assigned to the P mode that the Fn button now turns off the LCD in all modes. Hadn't noticed since I don't use that button generally. So you are right, again!
