The SX60 doesn't list phantom power as a feature. I'd be rather surprised to see any midline camera offering such a feature since that would present a rather significant drain on the camera's battery. Video recorders would have phantom power in many cases, but not a single shot camera such as the SX60.

You can purchase outboard supplies to provide phantom power Voltages. The easier, and typically equally effective, answer is to look at condensor mics which use a battery supply rather than pulling power from the input source. Or to use a dynamic mic which requires no power source. Why are you considering a condensor mic? Many of today's dynamic mics can provide excellent performance when matched to the situation in which they will be used. Additionally, dynamic mics are often more durable in-field choices over a condensor mic. A condensor mic placed ten or more feet from the source probably won't provide superior benefits over a simpler, less expensive dynamic mic.

If you opt for the condensor, I'd say use a self powered device using a small battery. You won't be pulling current from the camera's battery this way. The SX60 has a short enough battery life that it doesn't need any more of a drain IMO.
