Re: How Many Folk Here Use Primes?

a year ago I owned no primes, now I have more than a dozen, mostly old ones, but a few new as well.

As a non working pro one might wonder why any primes at all.. and I would answer that for a twist and different way of looking through the lens I am really glad I stumbled into all the wonder old glass I have now collected.

Primes can be a ticket to a whole new ball game.  I carry a few each week now and work with them.  Instead of zooming to what I would nTurally and easily be able to zoom to, I am forced to look for new ways of seeing things to match the lems or to shooting differently

This has reopened the world of photography a ps a hobby and passion for me again.

For pros I can say it may give yoir woek a new look, especially shooting with older ED quality glass.  the old becomes fresher and new again.
