Hi,

I've read on the manual that holding only the camera body when the lens is attached may cause damage to the camera or the lens mount. But since the NX1 can't focus manualy during video recording (the af square can't be moved with buttons, only with the touchscreen), it is not practicable.

Is it really bad to hold only the NX1 with the lens attached ?

Thanks.

I hope not. Imagine what the new 300 f/2.8 would do if weight is an issue? Does your copy of 50-150 have any rotational play at the mount? You might notice when turning the zoom ring. Also there is a tripod mount which would be useful.

Yes a bit of rotational play like some people have on this thread : http://www.dpreview.com/forums/thread/3780261#forum-post-55055144

Edit : I just read that your copy of 50-150mm have rotational play too. This seems to be normal but i hope holding only the body will not damage anything.

Me also.  The 16-50 I tried out did not have this issue and others have said the same.  Maybe there was a gasket at the rear mount or should have been one that stood up higher?  I like how the images from the 50-150 look & so far it hasn't caused any issues.
