Re: Micro 4/3 wide angle options

That's probably the best idea, in getting a real wide angle from lensrentals.com or similar and then pricing it into your costs.

If the client wants you to do it then they wont object to the matter of fact that you require specific lenses to do it, and you should be able to get your hands on a real wide angle, depending on what you're doing either the 7-14 F/4 or the 12mm F/2 if you need more light.

A real estate agent is going to hate you for crooked walls if you use a fish eye, and even after you defish it never really does remove all of the distortion. I've tried as above, on purpose, to make substitutes to see what would happen. If you need more light gathering capability then its simply a matter of facts.

The first shot I posted was in a reasonably open plan shed and there wasn't really enough light so if you're shooting in available light with an F/4 lens you're really going to struggle in getting a shot above 1/30 and that's not really acceptable with a GH3 without image stabilisation.

Why would stabilisation be an issue? It's a paid real estate shoot, I would assume tripod use would be fine, he didn't seem to indicate otherwise...
