Thank you. That is a provocative slow-mo video.

Hopefully in the positive sense of the word.

It must take some practice to get just the right frame grabs so when you put them back together for the video it looks pleasing/continuous.

In my sample the action was so fast that I had to use almost every frame of a sequence. A second of action in this case was 60 frames.

Just follow the action in deciding which still frames to grab.

Is the video made using the slide show feature of a video editor?

No. Presently I use Power Director 12.

I just open a set of still images by selecting all of my desired group and drag it onto the timeline.

Now here is the important part of making the clip: you must set the time each still will be displayed.

If you will create an 1080P clip at 30 FPS (displayed rate), and if you set the display time for each still to be .5 seconds, the still image will display in the clip for .5 seconds which is for 15 continuous frames of your created clip.

If you decide to display your still image for only 1/5th (.2) a second your still will display for 6 continuous frames. Such a short display time will make for faster ' action' in your final video clip.

As you create a clip see how it looks and redo it at a different display duration times until you are satisfied with your create clip.

Hope this answers your question, if not just ask.

It is a very enjoyable type of hybrid photog/videography and provides a great deal of satisfaction.
