DxO Optics Pro 10 and Samsung nx30 EXIFs

Hi !

This is a question for DxO Optics Pro users wh own an NX30.

I have been using DxO Optics Pro happily with my NX1000 and never had any issue (even if the following "problem" is not really an issue in a strict meaning). Since I got my NX30 I have noticed a strange thing. If I load a RAW file (shot with NX30), DxO reads the EXIF perfectly and tells me what lens was used to shoot the photo. If I load a JPG, there is no lens appearing in the field.

The result is that, for JPG photos, DxO keeps telling me there is no correction module available for the camera/lens combination. I know that it is better to process RAWs with automatic correction modules but I also like processing JPG this way.

It has another effect, more problematic this one : I also use DxO Viewpoint and as the EXIF is not read properly, I can't use the automatic correction modules from the software.

I compared with my NX1000 : no problem whatsoever, the modules are all available, and all the information is correct in the EXIF.

Could you please run a test and tell me if you experience the same problem with recent samsung nx cameras (NX300, NX3000, NX30 and NX1) ?

Has there been any change in how NX cameras write EXIF metadata ?

Thanks a lot.
Jay
