NX1 exposure level display

When using my built in flash or my external (Metz 44 AF-1) flash, I noticed the on screen exposure level display doesn't account for the flash being used.  On my NX20, it would adjust accordingly, showing whether I'm properly exposed or not when the flash was enabled.  I couldn't find any thread mentioning this.  Basically I am guessing by the brightness of the screen if the shot is properly exposed.  Has anyone else experienced this or am I missing something in the settings?
