5D3 compact-flash-card record speeds

As part of my return to Canon (and buying a 5DS [or 'SR] this summer) after shooting with two Sonys or a Samsung NX1 for about a year, I borrowed the 6D I had sold early last year. I felt so comfortable and happy with it, overall, that I considered buying a 5D2 to use in the interim but instead bought a almost-new-appearing 5D3. It came with three old-and-small CF cards and one late, fast one, a 16GB Lexar Professional 1000X. I know there are card-speed tests out there already...

...(and probably more), but I decided to test the cards I had. I don't much care what a card's read speed is; I tested in-camera record speeds by shooting and timing a 25-frame burst from depressing the shutter until the red record light extinguished. I set the camera on manual focus, IS-off, lens (24-70/4/IS) wide open, 1/500th second, fast-burst speed, recording both largest RAWs and JPGs, single card in camera. The 5-frames-per-second burst speed was a little hard to time at its initial full-speed portion, but if I miscounted any bursts, I did it every time I performed the test for one card, as I experienced NO timing anomalies, only differences of 0.1 seconds (rounded) within each card's repeated tests.
From fastest to slowest, the cards are:
1. Kingston ultimate 600X 32GB, average of two cards...10.0 seconds
2. Tied: Lexar Pro 1000X 16GB.....................................10.3
............SanDisk Extreme Pro 90MB/s 32GB...................10.3
3. Lexar Professional 133X w/Wa 4GB.............................36
4. SanDisk Extreme III 4GB............................................46
5. Lexar Platinum II 200X 4GB, even slower than #4.
As expressed in the second link above, the Kingston card is indeed the best value; I bought the 2nd after testing the first.
I tested three 32GB SD cards I had; each required in the mid-30 seconds to complete the test.
I have a Lexar Pro' 1066X 32GB card coming; I'll add that data after I test the card.
Also, I suspect the faster processors (the Digic 6 Dual) in the newest Canon bodies such as the 7D2 and the 5DSs will be able to take advantage of the speeds of the fastest cards to a greater extent than the 5D3 can.
