The air show we attended this weekend also had a Balloon launch.

Here are a few of my balloon pics.

Hope you enjoy.

This was the first balloon to lift off. It's name is Alley Cat.



A balloon named Cricket.



This one was my 3 yr olds favorite. This balloon festival was in Battle Creek Michigan which is also known as cereal town USA. This balloon is Sugar Bear.



I can't remember this balloon's name. My daughter said it was Sky Pirate but I can't be sure.



Here is a Balloon Top I liked the colors.



And finally just a bit of humor. This one struck me as kinda funny. I entitled it "Down in Front"



I hope you liked them. I think these turned out a little better than my plane pics. They also did a balloon illume at dusk but there were so many balloons crowded into a small space that I just didn't get a picture I really liked. I have one that I'm going to do some PS work on and if I get it to look the way I want it I will post it.

Those are some great shots, we had a balloon fest here in June but
too much wind, never got to see a launch. I'm jealous. :-) All I
got to see were grounded balloons.

I used the s602z. The only adjustments I did to the pictures was a slight contrast adjustment.

Thanks, Ron! I tell ya, the 3rd Gen SCCD can really capture the color like no other camera...well, nothing under a thousand bucks! :)
