Re: Viewer for Stereo Realist slides?

I agree with above. Order a black plastic Stereo Realist red button viewer with adjustable spacing lenses from Dr. T. (his nickname well known).  He is stereo expert George Themelis from Clevelan OH area.... All his products have been carefully cleaned, spruced up and have the best halogen bulbs. Kodak viewers are not bad, true, but Realist model is the one to get for your viewing. You are better off getting one from his web site or his eBay pages in my view. I am sure you will be pleased. These viewers appear all the time....many were made and still work well. Gerry

A Realist "RED BUTTON" viewer is perhaps the best way to experience your old stereo slides. There's always a bunch on eBay. They have achromat lens to keep the view superior to most other viewers.

CAUTIONS:

The Realist Red Button viewer is bakelite and cracks easily. Get one with no cracks.

The Realist red Button viewer coud have been strored away with 2 "D" cell batteries installed. Internal corrosion from leaky batteries is common (but repairable).

This seller has the best selection at any one time, really knows his stuff, and decribes the items fairly and honestly.
