Weather Sealing is a Gimmick.

Again. Why? In real world situation with real consumers, I don't think they would simply pour water on their non weather sealed gear just to see if it still works.

Did you look at the link I provided to Digital Revs test of two non-weather sealed cameras to see just what abuse they are able to take ?

Feel free to try that on your own gear. Most of us want our gear to last longer than the time needed to shoot a YouTube video.

I dare to run tap water on my 12-40mm to clean it because the spec says it's weather sealed. And it is.

The spec doesn't say its weather sealed its says it is "splash proof" which is exactly why things like running under the tap etc are not covered by the warranty. I am not saying that the E-M1 does not have excellent build quality and weather resistance my point is only in relation to what will be covered by warranty
