cleaning a dslr
Feb 18, 2015
I have large object on my sensor of my 600d. Once camera shop says sensor cleaning is $75 and a 24 hour turn around. The other camera shop does not charge and will clean it while you wait. When I asked about the free cleaning they said they would do a wet cleaning if needed. Has anyone run into this before? Why one shop charges and another won't. I read online I could use a kolinsky brush very lightly on the sensor. But the spot is still there yet I don't see anything on the sensor. The spot shows up on my pictures at about f13 and up.
I need some input on what to do about this. It's my first issue with my canon and I have had it about a year.
Canon EOS 600D
Canon EOS 80D
Canon EF 50mm F1.8 II
Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro USM
Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS
