Re: NX30 stops responding

This sounds exactly like my NX11 in 2012 so best not to hold your breath waiting for a fix. I would need to see a bit change in firmware stability before moving back to NX in a big way. The problem is the standard of error trapping in the firmware not a bug so a complete change in approach is needed. My NX3000 has already frozen on me but a mode change fixed it. The NXxx's seem to suffer more than most.

The cameras and lenses are nice so I wish they would produce kit that does not need battery pulls. The EX2f was a prime example of Samsung's strange weak spot in writing adequate code for their excellent hardware. The stability was OK but functionality was very limited.

My answer to your question would be highly unlikely.

Edit: On the positive side the talk about monthly NX1 firmware updates might mean there will be more interest shown in this side of the cameras operation. Let us hope it filters through to all the range.

It is sad that this bug is still alive after 1.31 FW. Could Samsung fix it? Mine does the same. There is no day without a freeze. Battery in and out always help. But some software developer should help and get a 1.4 FW out without the freezing bug.
