Yeah, I saw that video when the K3 was introduced. I even sent a link to my daughter, who is not into photography, but is a ballet dancer. I wanted her to see what goes into some of those shoots ..though she has had some experience in front of the camera.

I've been think about what you were saying. I wonder if the reason that Ricoh are strongly promoting the speed and sporty aspects of their recent offerings is because they were rubbish at it before?

It was a major promotional feature of the K-3, because at last they had a plausible offering. Whereas everyone knew that Pentax was already pretty good where there wasn't a lot of fast movement.

Perhaps Ricoh are trying to create an impression of supplying all-round equipment?
