Hi i'm new...

Hi to all Members of DPReview.

As you've guessed from the subject title, i'm new here.

Just a quick question really:

1) If I were to buy a Sony camera from the US, would the supplied charger work in the UK?
If not -
will I need to buy some sort of adapter?
or a completely new UK standard charger?

2) Is there anything else I should be aware of (technical aspect) when buying a camera from the US?

Oh and I loved the Article on the DSC-V1... an excellent camera and great value for money, from what i've read so far.

Using the proper adapter it will work anywhere.

You wouldn't happen to know how much an appropriate adapter would cost would you? Do sony make one?

20c in USA. I'm talking about a plug adaptor.

Ohhhhhhhh right. I thought you might be referring to a complete Charging Adapter (sorry about the confusion)
