I love it for it is, a small camera that is capable of the same image quality as I got from my 18MP DSLR.

Yes, there are the well-known short comings, but for the most part I could work around it. Overall I was so happy with the M-system that I even decided to sell my DSLR!
Of course, changes in my life, in my shooting behaviour and a shift of subjects made this decision much easier!
There was no longer the need for me to use a semi-pro DSLR model which would outnumber my skills!

When I started to use the M, I had so much more joy to photograph with this "miniature equipment" and it resulted in much more images in general. The loss of weight and bulk liberated my creativity, too.

I use it now with the Tamron EF-M 18-200mm VC as my basic kit to go everywhere and I am very happy with the results.

I have come to the conclusion that for my photography the EOS M is the right tool.
No doubt, the M is still far from being perfect, but then something perfect will never come anyways...

Now the M3 is coming and will adress most of the shortcomings that matter to ME.
