Very basic newb questions. I did a couple quick searches on the forums and didn't see this directly addressed (because maybe I don't have the terminology right?)

So, I'm relatively new to my GH4 and to Lightroom 5. I've got the basics covered, but I'm wondering about two things:

1). Under Camera Calibration, I understand that for other camera manufacturers, Adobe offers camera-specific Profiles geared toward different kinds of RAW processing. For the GH4, all we get is "Adobe Standard" – am I missing something? Is there a way to import different camera profiles into Lightroom? Where could I find these, or some kind of how-to for setting up my own?

Get yourself a colourchecker Passport and build your own.

Better still build your own and share some of those profiles with the DPR community.

The colorchecker is a whole lot more than a profiling tool, its also good for setting wb, its also a basic exposure meter and it can do a whole bunch of other things as well.

a) [Sub-Question] Would these Camera Profiles be Lightroom's analogs to Panasonic's in-camera "Effects"/"Photo Styles" (i.e. Standard/Vivid/Natural/Monochrome etc.)? Aren't the in-camera styles pretty much irrelevant when shooting RAW, unless you can apply them again when processing the RAW files? Am I confusing two different things?

2). Similarly, Adobe doesn't seem to offer Panasonic or Olympus lens profiles under the Lens Corrections tab. Is there a workaround where I can import Lens Profile presets, or a how-to to setup my own?

I can more or less live with either of these issues. I'm just wondering how everyone else deals with this, and whether fixes are available.

Thanks in advance.
