Hello everyone

I own a NX30 with the kit 18-55mm.

I'm an amateur, I know the basic of photography and I'm used to shoot with a 45mm f1.8

I'm starting to be a bit bored with portrait etc and i don't like the kit lens ( I'm living in ireland and I need a bright lens as most of my shoot are low light).

What should I buy ?

16mm , 20mm from sansung ?

Or is there an other wide lens from an other brand (samyang etc..) that could be great for my use ?

For the moment my choice would go for a 16mm f2.4 but I don't know the quality of this lens

Thank you for your advice. Price is something important too, I can't afford a "professional" lens ( less than 300€ would be perfect )

Thank you for your help

Being an amatuer, you should not lock yourself into one focal length.

With your NX30, along with the included LR, you can handle many low light situations without the need for 1.8 or f2 glass.

Additionally, landscape pics are not often shot with a wide aperture.

For these reasons I suggest you explore the NX 16-50 Power Zoom lens which handles landscapes very well and will still enable you to shoot both family pics at home and also with a bit of reach.
