D300 vs S5 Pro? Worth it to pick up a D300?

Hello, how are you?

Currently I have a Fuji S5 Pro.

It is in Top condition and I really like the feel of the camera and the controls.

I have the chance to pick up a Nikon D300.

The camera is in Mint condition, complete and has only 12000 shutter actuations.

I just don't know if it is worth it to get the D300.

From what i was able to gather, the D300 is a faster camera and has a much better AF system.

It is both quicker and better at tracking moving subjects.

But then, I also read that the output form the D300 sensor is not better than that of the Fuji S5 Pro.

Lots of people say the ISO performance is either equal or even better on the Fuji and that the color reproduction, gradation and dynamic range is way, way better on the Fuji.

This got me thinking.

I use the camera for 80% people pictures and 20% general cityscape pictures.

Would I gain anything by adding the D300 to my S5 Pro?

Has anyone here shot with both cameras? Do you own both cameras?

What's your input on this?

And in case you are wondering, I currently have two lenses. A Sigma 24-105 Art and a Tokina 50-135.

Thanks for helping out.

Cheers!
